(4 July 2025, Hong Kong) Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP), a new landmark for world-class sports and mega events, has become a vibrant hub since its opening in March. It has seamlessly integrated sports, entertainment, and leisure into a lively hotspot. Located on the second floor of the East Concourse at Kai Tak Stadium (“The Stadium”), "The Champion" Sports Bar and Bites (“The Champion”) will officially open on 5 July Saturday, creating a joyful leisure paradise for all Hong Kong residents and global travelers!
Gold Medal Theme with the Former Kai Tak Airport Blending Nostalgia and Modern Design
Inspired by the former Kai Tak Airport, The Champion features a gold-themed design that symbolizes the glory of gold medals while showcasing a pursuit of excellence. Its distinctive striped glass and vintage flight information display board add a nostalgic charm, allowing guests to reminisce about their travels at the old Kai Tak Airport. A unique chandelier, approximately 45 meters long, transforms the geographical coordinates of the former airport into Morse code and symbols, cleverly integrating design elements that extend the beautiful memories of the past into today’s vibrant atmosphere.
One of Asia’s Longest Sports Bars: A Three-in-One Feast of Fine Drinks, Sports and Entertainment
The Champion features one of the longest sports bar counters in Asia, reaching approximately 100 meters with a double-sided design. It is equipped with 64 beer taps, serving 9 selected beers and 2 signature cocktails on tap. The bar includes 12 temperature-controlled beer keg rooms, capable of holding up to 1,800 kegs, totalling about 54,000 liters of beer. During events and activities, beer is delivered through a piping system instantly to ensure that every sip remains fresh and flavourful.
The Sports Bar and Bites also offers a variety of exciting entertainment facilities, including 8 electronic dart lanes, 2 American pool tables, and 2 foosball tables. By the end of July, two Formula 1 simulators will be added, providing racing fans with an immersive experience. Additionally, there are over 25 large-screen TVs broadcasting popular global events like football, rugby, Formula 1, tennis, and badminton. From Wednesday to Sunday, live bands and DJs perform, offering a continuous stream of sports and entertainment enjoyment.
