Asia’s Top Band Mayday Makes Historic Debut at "Hong Kong Home Venue" With "Mayday’s Promise" at Kai Tak Stadium
(8 May 2025, Hong Kong) The Asian rock band Mayday will perform at Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) for the first time this year, honouring their "Mayday's Promise" by bringing "Mayday #5525 Live Tour in Hong Kong" to life! The band will stage four electrifying shows at Kai Tak Stadium (The Stadium) from 9 to 11 May and on 13 May, delighting fans with their incredible music. Mayday promises a grand and unforgettable performance, igniting the passion for rock music alongside their devoted fans at the iconic venue!
The four concerts will open for entry at 5 pm, with the show starting at 7 pm. It is expected that many attendees will arrive using public transportation after work during peak traffic hours tomorrow (the 9th) and next Tuesday (the 13th). As a result, traffic around the Sports Park and the MTR Tuen Ma Line will be busier than usual. Considering the increased crowd and traffic flow during the peak times, attendees are advised to plan their journeys in advance and allow extra travel time. Please arrive early and allow sufficient time for ticket verification and security checks to avoid delays in entry. Official merchandise will be available for sale within the Sports Park before and after each concert night, so fans are encouraged to arrive early to pick their favourite items!
The weather forecast indicates a chance of rain in the coming days. Traffic around the Sports Park is expected to be heavier than usual during peak ingress hours. Therefore, concertgoers are advised to avoid driving to the Stadium and to use public transportation whenever possible. Additionally, attendees are recommended to dress lightly for the weather while attending the concert.
